Prerogative dell’odontoiatria adesiva nella riabilitazione orale
Oral rehabilitation has always been – and is – the greatest challenge of Restorative Dentistry. We understand as rehabilitation the act or effect of recovering or restoring (partial or complete) health, form and function after trauma or illness. Its necessity presupposes the determination of reasons and causes (cause and diagnosis) and a method for (re) establishing order (planning and treatment). Currently, different methods of Oral Rehabilitation have to adapt to new problems and lifestyles: less caries and periodontal problems (which is great) and more parafunctional habits and noncarious lesions (“bruxism”, attrition, erosion and abrasion, which is worst), and the requirement of a less invasive and more adhesive, simpler and less complex dentistry, and more, much faster. Within this framework, the purpose of this conference is to provide an efficient, safe and rapid methodology for oral rehabilitation, based on the latest concepts, technologies and dental materials.
